Hwasa 화사 is the maknae and lead rapper of Mamamoo.
Hwasa was born as Ahn Hyejin 안혜진 on Sunday, July 23, 1995 in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do. She's 4 years, 4 months, and 2 days younger than Mamamoo's oldest member, Solar.
Like fellow member Wheein, she was born in the Chinese Year of the Pig. She's a Leo. Her blood type is A.
She's 162 cm or 5'4" tall, the same height as Wheein. They're 3 cm shorter than the tallest member, Moonbyul.
Hwasa performed with Hyuna for her track "Ice Ice" on August 20, 2015. She also featured on a song entitled "Drinks Up" by Korean hip-hop artist Ja Mezz in 2015, "Love Talk" by Kisum, and "Mileage" by Primary featuring Paloalto in the same year. She also featured on High4's sub-unit High4:20's debut song "HookGa." She later featured in rapper San E's "I Am Me." She's the featured vocalist on Phantom’s “Fingernail” and Baechigi’s “Boy Jump.”
She has two older sisters. She graduated from Wonkwang Information Arts High School.
She wrote and composed “My Heart/I Do Me” on Mamamoo's first mini-album, Hello. She used to record guide vocals for 4Minute.
She enjoys cooking so much that she's Mamamoo's cook. She's known Wheein since middle school. She shares a room with Solar.
She likes listening to old jazz music. She plays the guitar. She's attended J Music Vocal School.
