  About Brave Girls 브레이브걸스

Brave Girls 브레이브걸스 is a girl group formed in 2011 by producer Brave Brothers of Brave Entertainment.

The band debuted as five with the single album The Difference. The songs "Do You Know" 아나요 and "So Sexy" were their promotional singles for the album. On July 29, they made their comeback with the reggae song "Easily" from their mini album Back to da Future. The group promoted a remixed version of "Easily" on August 13 and released it on August 26. They made an appearance in the movie Mr. Idol.

Following a two and half year hiatus beginning in early 2014, the group returned in mid 2016 with seven members, two being from the original line-up. The new members that made their debut mid-2016 were Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, Yuna, and Hayun.

On January 13, 2017, Brave Entertainment released a statement on the departure of Yoojin. Brave Entertainment said: "We are sorry to deliver this news to the fans of Brave Girls who have been waiting patiently for so long." According to the company, Yoojin is planning to concentrate on her education and will study abroad.

On March 14, Eunyoung was revealed as a new member and the leader of the group. She is the niece of Shin Hakyun, an actor known for his roles in Welcome to Dongmakgol and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. Hyeran was revealed on March 17. Yejin became the third member to be revealed. She'd been Miss Seattle at the Miss Korea competition. Seoa became the fourth member of the group. On April 24, they appeared on "Gag Concert" and performed a trot version of "Do You Know." Eunyoung appeared on KBS's "100 Points out of 100" show and won 2 medals (gold and bronze) on the show. On July 22, Brave Entertainment announced that the group would make a comeback during the month and shared concept photos of their mini-album Back to da Future. Brave Brothers stated that the song was an homage to Kim Gunmo’s “Excuse.” A teaser for the music video was revealed on July 27. One day later, the music video was released. The EP was released on July 29 and debuted and peaked at number 14 on the Gaon Album Chart, selling 1,606 copies. They made their comeback on "Music Bank" with the song “Easily.”

The group participated at the 3rd Idol Star Athletics Championship on September 13. They had a cameo appearance in "Mr. Idol" with Chocolat and other idol groups. The members said, “We think that we really need to show a different side of us. We understand that fans who waited for our sexy or cute concept might be disappointed, but hope that they would like this concept too.” Brave Girls made their first comeback stage on Mnet’s "M Countdown."
