Lee Sungjong 이성종 is the maknae of Infinite.
Sungjong was born on Friday, September 3, 1993, in Gwangju, Jeolla-do. He’s younger than Infinite’s oldest member, Sunggyu, by 4 years, 4 months, and 6 days.
He was born in the Chinese Year of the Rooster. Like fellow member Sungyeol, he’s a Virgo. He’s 179 cm or 5'10½" tall. Sungjong, Sunggyu, and Dongwoo’s blood type is A.
He went to Gongju University and Jeoju Arts High School. His brother, Seonkyu, is three years younger than he is. He’s Christian.
He went to Tonga on “Law of the Jungle” in 2016.
Sungjong first felt inspired to become a professional singer because he really liked dancing at his school festivals. His role model is Michael Jackson. His favorite of Michael Jackon’s songs are “Beat It” and “Ben.”
Among the Infinite members, Sungjong is the best at performing girl groups’ dances. Whenever he’s angry at the other Infinite members, he beats up his stuffed animals. He wanted to keep the desert fox from the end of Infinite’s music video for “Come Back Again.” He’s explained that since his parts in Infinite’s performances are short, he practices hard to leave a strong impression. If he had the opportunity for a solo performance, he’d want to do a trot song. Woollim’s CEO wanted Sungjong’s hair to be blue for “BTD” promotions, but the blond came out so well, they kept it. Sungjong would like to jump into the audience someday at an Infinite concert. If he could be anyone for a day, he’d either want to be Sunggyu or Woollim’s CEO. He chose Woohyun as the Infinite member most likely to be the best at love and relationships, because Woohyun has a strange charm and aegyo.
Sungjong is left-handed. He’s very optimistic. His favorite food is whatever his mother cooks. His least favorite food is beans. He collects Kubrick figures.
