Seohyun 서현 is the maknae and lead vocal of SNSD.
Seohyun was born Seo Juhyun 서주현 on Friday, June 28, 1991, in Seoul.
She was born in the Chinese Year of the Ram and her zodiac star sign is Cancer. She’s 168 cm or 5'6" tall. Her blood type is A.
She went to Daeyeong High School with Yoona before transferring to graduate from Taeyeon’s alma mater, Jeonju Arts High School. She majored in art at Dongguk University, where Yoona also studied. Like fellow members Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Yoona, she speaks Mandarin. She’s an only child.
She joined SM through the 2003 SM Casting System. She’s the “Seo” in the SNSD sub-unit TaeTiSeo, which debuted in April 2012. She plays the piano.
On August 28, 2016, Seohyun and Yuri released “Secret” through SM Station. In January 2017, Seohyun became the third member of SNSD to release a solo album with Don’t Say No.
She’s been in various dramas and musicals, like “Unstoppable Marriage” (2007), “Passionate Love” (2012), “The Producers” (first episode), “Warm and Cozy” (2015), “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo” (2016), “Moon Embracing the Sun” (2014), and “Gone with the Wind” (2015).
She hates hamburgers but she loves sweet potatoes. She was paired up with CNBlue’s Yonghwa on “We Got Married,” where they earned the nickname “Sweet Potato Couple.”
Of the SNSD members, Seohyun’s the one who makes the most mistakes during performances. She’s best friends with Kara’s Nicole. She’s a big fan of the manga “Nodame Cantabile.”
