Lee Jaejin 이재진 is the main dancer of Sechs Kies.
Jaejin was born on Friday, July 13, 1979, in Busan. Like fellow member Suwon, he’s a Cancer. They were both born in July, a year and three days apart. Along with Jaeduk, he was born in the Chinese Year of the Ram. At height of 175 cm or 5'9", he’s the same height as fellow member Sunghun. His blood type is O.
Jaejin and Jaeduck were members of a Busan dance crew called Quicksilver. After submitting an audition tape to Daesung Entertainment, they were both admitted. Once in Sechs Kies, the two of them worked on some of the group’s choreography together.
He released his first album, S.Wing, with the song "Double J" in 2001. He released a follow-up album, 002 J2, with the single "Go Back" in 2003. After 3 years’ hiatus, he released his third album, It’s New, with the single "Charge" in 2005.
In 2008, Jaejin entered the military. Suffering from depression, he almost committed suicide and entered psychiatric treatment. After being released from the army, he took a break from the entertainment industry and studied drawing in Japan.
His brother-in-law is YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyunsuk. In 2011, Jaejin drew illustrations for Big Bang’s Special Edition album. In 2013, he and Hyunsuk opened a new restaurant, School Food, in a YGE-owned building.
In 2015-2016, he participated in group exhibitions 상상연대 2 (Imagination Alliance 2) and 상상연대 3 (Imagination Alliance 3) in Galerie Gaia, an art gallery in Germany, under the pseudonym 한조 (Hanzo).
Jaejin dislikes noisy places. He’d like to travel to Egypt. His favorite book is The Giving Tree and his favorite movie is Romeo and Juliet. He likes to eat Korean food and pizza. His favorite colors are blue and yellow. He rubs his eyes to relieve his stress.
