Victon 빅톤 is a male idol group from Plan A Entertainment. Plan A is home to Apink and to Huh Gak, the winner of the Mnet talent competition series "Superstar K" season 2. Victon is their first male idol group.
Plan A Entertainment was formerly A Cube Entertainment, a subsidiary of Cube Entertainment. In 2015, Plan A was absorbed into LOEN Entertainment and became an independent subsidiary of LOEN. What that means for fans is mostly just things like Vitcon's official music videos aren't posted on the official Vitcon YouTube channel, but instead you'll see a Vitcon channel playlist of the official videos on LOEN's 1theK channel.
Blue atoll (Pantone 306c) and blazing yellow (113c)
Victon's official colors are Blue Atoll and Blazing Yellow. These are the colors used on official merchandise. Plan A Ent. has chosen to associate each of the colors with different Pantone names and separate numbers.
Blue Atoll is Pantone 16-4535 TPX, but you will see Plan A list the number as Pantone 306c. On the Pantone website, Blue Atoll has an RGB value of 0 182 217 and a HEX/HTML value of 00B6D9, but CMYK values are not available. If you are making graphics using CMYK, then use the values listed for Pantone 306c, which are 75 0 5 0.
Blazing Yellow is Pantone 12-0643 TCX. Plan A lists it as Pantone 113c, which has a CMYK value of 0 2 83 0.
Before Victon was given an official group name they were known as Plan A Boys as a placeholder title for the new idol group from Plan A Entertainment. The temporary name made up of "Agency Name" + "Girls/Boys" for pre-debut groups is now common practice so that agencies can build interest before they reveal the permanent name of the new group.
On August 17, 2016, Plan A Entertainment released details regarding the group (then known as Plan A Boys) and their reality show "Me & 7 Men," which would chronicle the group's preparation for debut. On August 30, 2016, "Me & 7 Men" aired its first episode on Mnet.
On September 1, 2016, Seungsik, Sejun, and Hanse released a digital single in collaboration with label mate Huh Gak entitled "Begin Again," accompanied by a music video starring Huh Gak and all seven members of the group.
On November 1, 2016, a teaser was aired after the finale of "Me & 7 Men" revealing the group's official debut date as November 9, 2016.
Plan A Entertainment released individual video and photo teasers for all seven members leading up to the performance trailer for "What Time Is It Now?" from the first mini-album.
On November 9, 2016, Victon released their first mini-album Voice to New World along with the promotional single "I'm Fine."
