Johnny 쟈니 is the lead dancer and lead rapper of NCT.
Johnny was born Seo Youngho 서영호on Thursday, February 9, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He sometimes goes by the name John Seo 쟌서.
Like fellow members Taeyong and Yuta, he was born in the Chinese Year of the Pig. Johnny, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jisung were all born under the star sign Aquarius. Johnny, Doyoung, and Winwin’s blood type is B. At a height of 186 or 6'1", he’s NCT’s tallest member. He’s taller than the shortest members, Renjun, Jeno, and Haechan, by 15 cm.
He attended Seoul School of Performing Arts, where Taeyong, Mark, Jeno, Haechan, and Jaemin also went. He also attended Glennbrook North High School. Johnny, Ten, and Jaehyun speak English.
Johnny is a member of the sub-unit NCT 127. He’s wanted to be an entertainer since he was a child. He became an SM trainee through the SM Global Audition in Chicago on September 2007. He was introduced as part of SM Rookies in December 2013 and was part of the SR14B sub-unit. On October 28, 2016, he released the song “Nightmare” for SM Station along with Yoon Dohyun, Reddy, G2, and Inlayer. On March 30, 2017, he started as a new fixed panelist in the season two of the television program “Lipstick Prince.” He also became a DJ for the new SBS radio show “NCT’s Night Night!” along with fellow NCT member Jaehyun.

His favorite poet is Dr. Seuss. His favorite author is Malcolm Gladwell. His favorite cartoon is “Dragon Ball.” His favorite foods are Coca-Cola, carbonated water, mint chocolate, americano, chocolate ice cream, chili, watermelon, strawberry banana smoothies, and burritos. His favorite pizza topping is jalapenos.
He’s friends with EXO’s Kai, Sehun, Chanyeol, and Suho.
Johnny is an optimist who likes helping others. For fun, he likes playing the piano, joking, and making people happy. He loves to run around in the rain. He wants to go skydiving and visit Italy. He hates it when people chew with their mouths open. He loves the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. During his freshman year of high school, he played volleyball. If he weren’t an artist, he’d want to be a veterinarian.
Johnny says that performing in SMTOWN Week was one of the hardest things he ‘s done in his life. He prepared for it for two weeks, working from morning until midnight.
